HOWTO: divx4linux
Description: DivX encoder and decoder
Click here for ChangeLog
NOTE: I use GNU tar >= 1.13.25 so it's -j for .tar.bz2 files,
it's safe to assume that make, gcc, binutils, fileutils/coreutils, gawk, sed, and grep are prerequisites for almost everything

# DivX for Linux 5.0.5

 find ~/src/mplayer -type d -maxdepth 1 -name "divx4linux-*" \
  -exec rm -r {} \;

cd
test -f installed/divx4linux-std-20030428.tar.gz &&
 mv installed/divx4linux-std-20030428.tar.gz .
test ! -f divx4linux-std-20030428.tar.gz &&
 wget http://download.divx.com/divx/divx4linux-std-20030428.tar.gz
