Sep 18, 2003	- Modernized the howto:
		  Create ~/installed with mode 700
		  Set to re-use existing tarball in ~/installed
		  Fix the world readable/writeable permissions on the
		    extracted tarball (no Joe User needs to be messing with
		    the source for shadow...)
		  Changed the patch download URLs from
		    http://ftp.englanders.cc/... to http://englanders.cc/...
		  Changed the default symlink to pam.d files (at the end) 
		    to symlink to the .noldap files
		  Remove old version shadow tarballs from ~/installed
		  Only d/l and extract the pam.d files if /etc/pam.d exists
		  Only try to symlink the .noldap files if they exist
		  Remove old source directories from /usr/local/src
		  Took all of the patches that Slack 9 uses and combined
		    them into one
		  Added prerequisites
		- Added --disable-nls to configure, removal of .mo files
		  from previously installed (from source) shadow
		- Replaced using cp to install things with install from
		  GNU fileutils

		  useradd and shadow

		  the "noldap" version
