koffice - Office suite for KDE ChangeLog

HOWTO

# koffice 1.4.2
# =============
# Note: the home page link is to www.koffice.org, which is down right now.

# This failed to build for me with errors mentioning libjasper.  I told it
# to skip that particular app, happened with another.  I removed the static
# lib, tried a shared lib.  Googled for a while.  Rebuilt several things.
# Tried someone else's package from linuxpackages.net  Eventually I just
# gave up and installed the koffice package from Slackware-current
# (it's also version 1.4.2).

# Slackware 8.1's 'koffice' package includes version 1.1.1, 9.0 and 9.1's
# include 1.2.1, 10.0's includes 1.3.1, 10.1's includes 1.3.5, and 10.2's
# includes 1.4.1
#
# Slackware 10.2 includes KDE 3.4.2

# Check out my KDE 3.5 howto for more info.

# If you ever want to uninstall koffice, cd into the source directory, run
